I stand to be corrected but I'm sure I can recall a certain Councillor predicting the imminent death of the Neath Ferret some time ago. With forecasting skills like these can we look forward to seeing this local celebrity in pantomime this festive season, following that other famous Welsh clairvoyant, Russell Grant? Russell successfully plays Baron Hardup in Cinderella, and I am sure our councillor could be a first class understudy for him. Damn, it's only a wig and some slap and you'd ne'er tell the difference.

I'd buy a ticket for certain, and I bet Peter Hain and the whole of NPT Council too. We all need a laugh living under the yoke of a Tory government in Westminster and a Labour controlled Senedd. The worst of both worlds one could say.

Some less kind than me would say said councillor has been in panto for years anyway, having once been part of the Labour cabal on the Council since as far back as Noah built his Ark.
