Two SLRC members, James Stephenson and Kevin Delaney travelled across to Fort William to compete in the final Lochaber winter series event, the 14 mile long Lairig Mor. A strong head wind and driving rain at times made the first eight miles in particular a bit of a testing affair for the 75 runners. Craig Mitchell ran out the eventually winner in 1.30.37, with Kevin taking 28th place in a time of 1.51.00 closely followed by James just four places behind in a time of 1.53.16.  Beans on toast afterwards at Morrisons never tasted better!
