Business Development Officer
Salary £30,000 per annum
35 hrs per week on a fixed term contract to 31 March 2019

Over the past 14 years, Sleat Community Trust, has evolved into a thriving community enterprise running a shop and post office, a petrol station, a wireless broadband service, a local tourism group, the community forest and developing a renewable energy project. As part of our ongoing plans, an exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a full-time Business Development Officer to support the volunteer Board of Trustees and work with the community to achieve the aims of the Trust.
This person will be highly motivated, well organised, be a good communicator and ideally, with experience of community development projects in one or more of our main operational areas. Key skill requirements will include project management, sourcing/managing funding streams and
business planning.
