This week’s updates;
• The Trust has donated £300 to the Sleat Lunch Club. This will go towards covering the cost of their Xmas lunch at the Ardvasar Hotel.
• Great strides are being made to convert Aite into the Skye Farm Shop. Martin is hoping to be open by the end of next week.
• Thanks to everyone that have donated their leftover foreign currency to date. Have a root around your cupboards for any you may still have and pop it into our collecting bucket at the Armadale Post Office.
• Our wood fuel shed construction finally gets underway next Monday weather permitting!
• New stock just in at the Armadale Post Office includes a range of spices, teas, cooking ingredients and boxes of chocolates for Xmas.
• The date for the next Sleat Development Forum has been set for the 23rd of January at Sabhal Mor Ostaig.
• Carmen (a film of the Opera) is to be screened at Tarskavaig Communities Hall on Saturday 7th December at 7.00pm. BYOB and some food to share. A few tickets remain. • Chris will meet with Scottish Woodlands next week to discuss Tormore harvesting.
• Calum continues to engage with several parties regarding potential mast sites for broadband around Sleat.
• Next week we have the final board meetings of this year for Trading and Sleat Renewables.
