The Tudor Trust supports us again with £60,000.
Sleat Community Trust has been awarded a second round of grant-aid by the Tudor Trust - £20,000 a year for three years to go towards central development. This was achieved through the hard work two ex-directors of Sleat Community Trust. Donald MacGregor, now Chairman of Sleat Renewables, wrote the application while Calum Robertson, who now keeps the accounts for the Trust, made the economic assessment.
Donald explained that “this ensures the survival of Sleat Community Trust and its two businesses for at least the next three years. I have absolutely no doubt that the Trust’s record of achievement was a crucial factor in our success.”
“The fact that the Tudor Trust has made a second grant is a sign of its great respect for the aims of Sleat Community Trust and collective hard work of the Sleat community.”
