98 Bonus Ball Lottery

Would you like to increase your chances of winning some money? How? By using the same £1 many of us already spend on our weekly lottery ticket.

Well, listen to this and if you choose to join this initiative, not only will your chances be increased, you will benefit your local community centre.

We propose to have 98 membership tickets, each holding a bonus ball number. (Yes, that means there are two for every number).

This is how it breaks down.

Every Saturday

  • 20 lottery tickets are bought (same numbers each time, posted onthe website)                                                                £20
  • The two people who hold the bonus ball number win £25 each                                                                               £50
  • Hall fund                                                                         £18

Total for week                                                                      £98

Each membership ticket also  gains 1% of any winnings from the lottery tickets. This is paid out in the 1st week of December. You never know!

By now you are wondering what happens to the other 2%, well  that goes to augment the hall fund.

All of the information, numbers, accumulated totals and winners will be posted on the Saltburn and IOTW websites.

So what do you need to do ?

1. First, contact us by telephone
2. Sign up and draw your bonus ball number/s from the box
3. Sign up to pay £1 per week (rolled into £13  every 3 months) payable in advance by standing order

5. We will send out the winners cheques on following Monday

The  chances of Winning £10 for 3 numbers with a lottery ticket

• 1 in (49/6)*(48/5)*(47/4)*(46/43)*(45/42)*(44/41) (which is 1 in 1133.119) for a single case. There are 20 combinations of 3 from 6 [6!/(3!*(6-3)!], so the chance of a 3 match is 1 in 1133.119/20 or 1 in 56.7
