ROCKVALE REBOUND T.N.
Christmas Lunch 2012.

The Rockvale Rebound Christmas Lunch took place on Saturday, December 15th 2012.  The venue, as has been the case for many years, was Townend Bowling Club’s function suite and around thirty four people were in attendance.  It was a grand afternoon, although we missed the melodic voice of Amy McGrandles since she had another engagement on that afternoon. 
The meal was excellent and was, as always, provided by Margaret Coleman and her team and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the repast, with many very favourable comments being made.
Sarah Worthey, along with some other committee members arranged a superb raffle and Lewis and Jack Campbell made sure that the prize winners received their prizes swiftly.  We didn’t have the pleasure of the ‘Rockvale Rebound Madrigal Society’ this time around, but there was still some entertainment, homespun, but enjoyable nevertheless, with poetry, amusing stories and some instrumental items.  There was also time for people to catch up with friends they had previously met and folk they had just met.
All in all it was a most pleasurable event and everyone went home well satisfied.
