PAGANS BLAMED BY CHURCH FOR THE HOLOCAUST

 In PAN's last bulletin we warned of the rampant anti-Pagan comments of one Fr Marsden, a seemingly rather bigoted Catholic priest and well-respected columnist. Virtually every week he and numerous other devoted-Xtian reporters sharing his prejudicial views, defame the Old-Religions in all their diverse forms. One of the latest Pagan-Bashing activists to crawl out of the woodwork is Lynette Burrows. Commenting on the Vatican's recent Holocaust-document she states:

 

  "NAZISM WAS NOT THE PRODUCT OF CHRISTIANITY, AS THE DOCUMENT POINTS OUT,

IT WAS THE PRODUCT OF A THOROUGHLY MODERN, NEO-PAGAN REGIME."

 This odious sentiment is echoed across the world and once again Pagans are firmly fixed in Christian sights as the 'Whipping Boy' of society. Centuries of historical Christian hatred against the Jewish race seem to count for nothing any more because the monotheistic majority has cemented yet another blood-libel against Pagans in the mind-set of the indoctrinated masses.

 Through the ages,  Jews have been shunned, stereotyped, victimised and murdered via powerful religious leaders  using BIBLICAL CHRISTIANITY not PAGANISM as a tool to achieve their ends.  The Church has constantly accused Judaism of 'Killing its Messiah' and Hitler merely used this  Christian-orientated  concept to further his disgusting racial policies and ideals. The alleged ODINIC/OCCULT/FASCIST link, used by intolerant Xtian fundamentalists  against Paganism has been mentioned by PAN in previous bulletins. We are well aware that some left wing activists frequently seek to foster a connection betwixt a few Nazi-sympathisers (who like the Odinic pagan style) sneaking through the net and Paganism in general. However the Vatican statement gives evidence of where the real dangers to Paganism exist.

 Christianity runs the Establishment; Christianity is frequently the opiate of the masses and if its respected religious leaders say that Paganism equates with Devil-worship or nationalism then Joe-Public often believes it without question. Originally, Christian suspicion, vilification & hatred of the Jewish race was  sadly an historical fact and ruthless Christian kings in the UK and other countries were once quick to condemn innocent Jews to exile or death without a second glance.

It was historically (please check out any early research documents for validation) Christianity that regarded Jews as the 'DEVIL'S AGENTS' (mainly through their role as early usurers.) It was the ancient  Christian leadership's indoctrination, bigotry, lies and vilification (not Paganism) which lead ultimately to the Holocaust via public hysteria fuelled by establishment-orientated misinformation.

Please note that this is NOT in any way a stab at contemporary lay Christian people who just want to live their lives (like the rest of us) in peace. Many more liberal-thinking Xtians have even now 'apologised' for the  sickening Christian atrocities which were committed by its over-zealous religious predecessors against other faiths  during the early HOLY CRUSADES. Many have realised the odious  injustice of the medieval  Burning Times when an estimated 13 million people were horribly killed under documented Church decree for being 'Heretics' (i.e. for not being  Christian enough for the fanatical religious leaders that were in control of the establishment at that time).

More recently, Numerous modern scholars (Jewish and otherwise) have also blamed the Catholic Church's leadership for apparent intransigence and apathy in failing to speak out loudly enough about the Nazi threat and thus  permitting the Holocaust to run on virtually unabated.

PAN asks: Is this WHY 'Lynette Burrows' and other activists  were  so defensive and quick to lay the blame for the Holocaust firmly on the shoulders of Pagans?

This is deadly serious stuff and Pagans need to stop the rot before the Vatican falsehood spreads like wildfire. Now, even ordinary liberal-minded Christian people would be outraged by these dangerously misleading distortions of historical truth. 

PAN suggests that any pagan still believing (after the Vatican statement blaming us for the deaths of millions of Jews, gypsies and gay folk) that Christo/Pagan interfaith is a great idea should have their head examined. Most Pagans will probably now be aware that PAN/SAFF have been (for years) combating the ridiculous so-called Interfaith Policies between hardline Christians and Pagans set in motion by blinkered leaders of groups like the Pagan Federation. Interfaithing Pagans who cannot (or will not) see the dangers to Paganism of liaising with those forces which infiltrate our faiths.

Paganism like every other faith system is deemed to be 'Satanically-inspired' by missionary fundies and thus a tangible 'threat' ranking for infiltration, suppression and/or evangelisation. Make no mistake either about fundamentalist grip on society. They call most of the shots in the media, schools, (religious education especially) social services, in fact the nearly all of the  system is Xtian-orientated, funded and controlled.

They have infiltrated everything with a "GREEN/NEW-AGE" prefix and they have Paganism firmly in their sights! This isn't some personal opinion, it is hard fact. PAN/SAFF actually 'monitor' the fundie-machine so we know the score. Any PF member is liable to be ejected for criticising their organisation and free speech is banned. For proof of this we make no apologies in reminding readers of the unwarranted expulsion of loyal PF members Pat and Cath Regan by the PF dictatorship.  

The Regans had objected to fellow pagans liaising at  Interfaith with hardline missionary groups (with a proven track record of targeting other faiths for conversion and spreading anti-pagan hate literature/propaganda) and  then asked the PF president, Pete Jennings,  if he required assistance with anti-defamation in this particular arena. He responded by BOOTING THEM OUT without rhyme,  reason or fair right to reply!

The mysterious person who made the alleged 'complaint' against Pat and Cath has never come forward and no right to any appeal was ever offered.

WE POSE THE QUESTION:

WAS ANY COMPLAINT EVER REALLY MADE OR DID THE PF SIMPLY MANIPULATE THE CONSTITUTION TO GET THEIR OWN WAY AND STIFLE C/P INTERFAITH OPPOSITION?

It appears that the PF leadership removed the Regans to suit their own dictatorial ends. Like all power-hungry autocracies, the PF leadership ensures that any dissenters are speedily taken out of the system by fair means or foul. This serious attack by the PF leadership on members' free speech is fully documented by PAN and is also currently being reported in the impartial magazine: PAGAN CENTRAL INTERNATIONAL (19 Northgate, Lactodorum, NN12 6HT.)

PAN will never allow this disgraceful matter to rest. PAN/SAFF's breakthrough is totally censored by the PF leadership. You will NOT see us advertised in PAGAN DAWN because the PF Junta doesn't want you to find out the truth about their glaring inadequacies.

Whilst we proudly fight against aspects of sheer religious intolerance, like the recent Vatican attack against Modern Paganism, they prefer to Interfaith with the forces which 'self-admittedly' want to destroy paganism in the UK.  We believe that Pagans attracted to Christo/pagan Interfaith possess a subconscious desire to enter (or re-enter) the world of monotheistic doctrine and have failed to liberate themselves from Xist mind-control systems. Pagans must ask themselves just 'why' it is that C/P Interfaith-Bunnies devote so much energy to attacking PAN and SAFF, the organisations doing more for Pagan rights than all the rest put together.

We suggest that these poor  lost and confused  creatures should be at least honest with themselves and possibly join that massive Christo/Pagan interfaith body, the CATHOLIC CHURCH (mentioned herein as this powerful branch of monotheism has infiltrated then converted,  via one-side interfaith networks/outreaches, many native pagan cultures such as the Afro-Caribbean and transformed  ancient pagan gods into Xtian saints or demons).

 

PAN HAS CATEGORICALLY NO BEEF WITH THE RANK AND FILE PF MEMBERSHIP THAT IS KEPT IN THE DARK BY ITS LEADERS.

Ordinary members understandably (but wrongly) keep quiet, hoping that the furore between the PF leadership and PAN/SAFF will blow over. The trouble is that many PF members say nothing because they see no viable alternative to the PF. Their leaders spread the rumours that PAN/SAFF are somehow overtly militaristic and not to be trusted.

Some swallow these plastic-Pagan lies without question and accept third hand information, not realising that they are being hoodwinked by others with devious motives/hidden agendas or politiknicks who are really too lazy to take action themselves. Many freethinkers do however write to us, join up and discover that we are just committed, hard working Pagan folk who simply desire first class deals for Paganism.

For some reason the Gods have put us in this position with anti-defamation and we intend to do our best.

 

NB. This document is produced in a bid for social peace, religious understanding and spiritual harmony.

PAN will continue to defend the Old Religions to the best of our ability. We shall however have no hesitation to criticise any groups or individuals that seek to use our well-meant literature for self-seeking and misleading  religious or political gain.
