Advising the council and others on what needs attention
If you want to make the council and your councillor aware of an eye-sore in your area, then please let us know.
The council and the railway authorities are grateful for our help. Often they only become aware of a problem when it is brought to their attention.
Those in business are invited to send their ideas and suggestions to the council via this website - the advantage being that when the public are made aware of them they can often support the idea.
Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council is sure to welcome this interactive website as we feel they are determined to improve the area - once problems are brought to their attention.
Working in harmony with the local authority is sure to produce postive results.
The frankness and the direct attitude of the reports on this website must be taken in good faith and good spirit by those in authority. The object is to make Neath a place that every one can be proud of.

We must be fair and state that council officials who work 9-5 in out of town council offices and live outside the area and do their shopping outside Neath, cannot be expected to see what many residents see as they walk around Neath.
It is for the benefit of those officials, and councillors, that we present the photographs on this website. We think that we are doing them a great service.
It is not reasonable to expect council workmen to take photos for them and give them feedback - so we are simply providing that service.
When council (and railway) officials see what we have found then they can do something about it.
Eventually we hope to see Neath a cleaner and better place to live in - thanks to our efforts.
