I was excited and thrilled that the World Famous Artist  Max Boyce  had
agreed to come along to entertain us at the renaming of the Owain
Glyndwr Community Centre, last Friday 24th January.
We  could have sold  double the amount  of tickets but for those who
were lucky enough to have a ticket , it was a night never to be
forgotten.

All who attended had a fabulous night of laughter, Max was and is a
professional through and through. My heartfelt thanks to him for making
the night happen and for making it so special.

My thanks to the Owain Glyndwr friends for supporting the event and
for helping me with the organisation. It could not have been the success
it was without Team Work. Thank You.

We have raised enough money to replace the original sign. The cheque
will be presented to Blaenhonddan Council at the next Monthly Meeting.
