Macents Theatre Group
My name is Mike Roberts and I write in connection with the Macents Theatre Group and the Neath Boys and Girls Club - a registered charity in the Melyn , Neath, registered charity number 524200.
I have formed this theatre company with absolutely no funding at the moment; however we are hoping this will change as we put on events and raffles in order to raise cash for productions costs. We are looking for as much publicity for this project as we can get and, in return for all publicity that we get from you, we will give news updates for your website.
The play is called (I smell A rat) an original play with some song and dance along with factual information hopefully staged in a fun and entertaining way. below is the plot description, This play is aimed at youth and families to highlight the awareness and the dangers of drugs.
We are looking for cast and crew. Crew includes positions such as SCENERY ARTIST, PROPS, CARPENTRY, ACTOR, DANCER , RUNNER , PUBLICITY , COSTUME , SOUND TECH, LIGHTING TECH, STAGE HAND , MAKE UP, TICKET SALES

The Plot / Description
The story takes place in a town not based on anywhere in particular. This town is dominated by drugs and the war against them.
We meet fun and exciting characters by the names of Stigweed, Nicotine and more.
There is a main gang of bad guys and gals in this production that dominate the plot; there is strength within the gang to stop foul play, drug taking stealing and more. Ken one of the main characters in our play loses touch with his life somewhere before our story takes place and he is misled by this gang. There comes a point where he has a bad experience and meets a ghost who helps him put things right.
We play out different scenarios along the way and the play features great contemporary songs. The play is jam packed with info, fun, and dance.
We eventually see the gang turn on their leader and we see an unfortunate death and injury to a few of our characters in a world where there should not be all this hate and malice.
Some of the dance pieces include Thriller , Rehab, Mercy, Time warp and more.
