The University of the 3rd Age

Here at the Neath Guardian website we often get sent news about what others do in their retirement.    It varies in different parts of the country - some communities are more active than others.

There is no doubt about it, keeping your mind and body active makes all the difference to how you feel.   Being in the right company can improve the quality of your life.

We have just had a magazine from Ormskirk - and yes, they have a website:

It shows what can be done when a community gets together and takes interest in different activities.   We are so impressed with the magazine that we are going to pass it on to Cllr Janice Dudley, who is more likely to take an interest in it since she started the Nifty-Fifty Club at the Owain Glyndwr Waunceirch Community Centre some years ago.
