Much concern was expressed to Cllr Janice Dudley at her monthly surgery meeting (7.9.13) at the Owain Glydwr Community Centre, Waunceirch,  by the residents of Leiros Park where there are proposals to build 200 new houses.   The green field area is shown in the above aerial photo.

The main concern was road access and congestion.  It was generally thought that all new green field sites of this size should have two access/exit points to roads that can accept the increased traffic flow.   It was stated that the existing plan would have a serious affect on the Pen-y-wern Road - the exit from Leiros Park.

Objections to the scheme should be sent to the NPT CBC Planning Department by 15th October 2013.
