Waunceirch Fun Day - report

Mike Davies, our photographer is providing a service for our readers we think no one else can equal.   Not only has he made available a slide show on his page (see menu) he has produced a YouTube video which also appears on our front page.

Those with 'smart' television sets or Apple TV Boxes can see now the results on their large screen in the comfort of their armchair.

The event was a great success thanks to a team effort by Blaenhonddan Community Council with Councillor Janice Dudley taking a leading part.    Cllr Dudley wishes thank all those who took part and also all the sponsors including Bassett Citroen of Swansea who went that one mile further with their efforts.

I would further like to add my sincere thanks tothe Excellent team behind the event on the day for their hard work and dedication,, in particular the Chair of our Community Council Wyndham Griffiths, Vice Chair Mike Teague, Caroline Teague, Joanna Hale, Gareth Morgan, Peter Hunter, Monica Cole, Lucia Rabaioti Jones and Daniel our new Community Councillor .

My sincere thanks and  gratitude, to the many volunteers too numerous to
mention who gave up their time to make his day the success it was.

Holliday Monday 2014 please come along.

Our Council's ambition is to generate Community Spirit for our Six
Villages and intend  to do  as much as possible to achieve this over the
coming years.
