"When someone interacts with others on a regular basis they may feel happier, may see a reduction in stress, gain useful contacts that help job prospects and feel a sense of community belonging among other positive outcomes. When someone is excluded or isolated for prolonged periods of time they can see a drop in confidence, a growing sense of alienation, they can miss career opportunities and are less likely to trust others."
