Cllr Peter Rees writes - Good News about Council Tax

"May I add the following good news about council tax. Formerly, it was expected that some 20,000 people would receive council tax bills this April (14,000 for the first time.) The Welsh Government after receiving deputations and correspondence from Councillors and other organisations, have now declared that they will cover the cost of this increase to benefit recipients. From my point of view this is excellent news and will remove the worry and anguish from the poorest people in our communities."
