The Great Mystery Box

Amongst the NAS photographic collection exist many images that to date remain a total mystery. Sometimes the location cannot be identified as Neath and district or the people/event depicted are unrecognised.  With no information written on the rear of the image, many of these pictoral records are filed in the 'Great Mystery Box'.  Being as we now have the wonder of the world wide web the NAS have decided to post them here with the hope that visitors to our website might be able to provide information.

Please browse the images and send any useful commemnts to the NAS through the 'Contact Us' page being sure to add your own contact details also.

Thank You

A senior year at the Neath Intermediate (Grammar) School for Boys about 1942. A number of teachers names came forward, such as Meirion Davies, Lewis Jones, Tom Pugh and Ieuan Jones. Pupils names highlighted were Terry Shufflebotham and Rees Stephens. Unfortunately, none of the respondents accurately pinpointed who these people are. The image is now annotated and we invite replies please using this numbering.
