Yesterday I did a 'Track' taster session at the Lee Valley Velopark. Was my 1st time ever on a track bike, took a bit of getting used to being a fixie with no brakes. After a slow start I began to get the hang of it in the hour long session. Managed to get up high on the track (its steeper than it looks) but sadly there was no chance to do a timed lap.

Im glad to have done it, was a good experiance but won't be rushing back. Tomorrow I am doing a 80 plus mile charity ride on the road bike and then hopefully at the weeeknd i'll be able to get back on the mtb which is most certainly where my heart lies with regards to cycling.
