Winter Glare - Part 2
As our eyes get older, the ciliary muscle that controls how much light enters the eye gets weaker, lengthening the time it takes to adjust to changing light.
So if you've been outside in bright winter sun, or just sitting by a window, when you move to a darker room it takes much longer to adjust.
To prevent bumps or falls keep light levels even throughout the home and leave the hall light on, even during daytime.
