Replacing Upvc Multipoint Door Locks
If you have worked out that your doors multipoint lock has failed what should you do about replacing it ?
Its like anything else in life its always easy when you know how and it becomes difficult when you dont know how. These types of locks account for more that 70 percent of all the doors in the UK and unfortunately they are not a universal fit.
There are many different manufacturers with different models and different sizes of lock and some are now obsolete so need to be replaced with a different multipoint Lock.
We always recommend calling a locksmith for these locks as the correct one needs to be identified and fitted, we have in the past been called by customers who have tried to replace it themselves but purchased the wrong lock making the cost far more than it would have been if they had called Lockkeys Locksmiths in the first place.
