02 May 2012
CPD group meeting Room 1WN 3.12 Univ Bath
5.15-7.00 in 1WN 3.12 on the 3rd May 2012.

After we've caught up with each others' news, worked with Pete Mellett on how to produce writing for an MA unit using a living theory, action research approach to CPD and responded to your writings, we've got the addition of a 10-15 minute video-d session with Andy Henon on contributions to the book he has been commissioned to produce by Marie on 'Living Legacies' for APEX.

Last night (1st May) Barry Hymer presented his inaugural professorial address at the University of Cumbria in Lancaster, on "Look back, but don't turn back" Thoughts towards an improvised choreography of talent development.

You can see Barry's address at:

Many of the Thursday evening CPD group know Barry from his visits to Bath organised by Marie to support 'Philosophy for Children'.  Last night I had the pleasure of hearing Barry being introduced to his audience by Professor Sandra Jowett, the academic pro vice chancellor of the University of Cumbria and I do hope that you will share my delight in hearing the introduction in the first few minutes of the video on youtube at the above url.

Love Jack.
