If you are not registering for modules or dissertations you still need to register with the university. Worth it if you can as you get access to online library, student discounts etc.

 

Mark has blazed the trail with LHU. If you have a problem check his website and ask him.

 

Tara is reading, Thich Nhat Hanh (1992) Peace Is Every Step: The Path of Mindfulness in Everyday Life. New York: Bantam. She will make some notes to post in the Reading Room.

 

Louise and Tracey have writings in the CPD members blog. It would be help us to develop our sense of our cooperative researching community if people might try logging in regularly and adding to the virtual conversation.

 

It was great to receive a paper from Lawrence to reflect on about the future of education by someone at NMMU. We will check with him whether it is copyright. If not we will put it in the Reading Room.

We have been asked to put the page that members can edit – Ideas, interventions etc – so it only viewable by those people logged in.

 

Anything else we can do to improve the virtual community let us know.

If you have anything to add to the Reading Room or the CPD members blog please send them. Please bring copies of anything would like to share at the meeting and copies of the papers attached.

Jack is putting a series of brief videos as an introduction to living theory research. http://actionresearch.net/writings/arsup.shtml He would like to know if they are clear or how he might improve them. We have been asked to help with study skills as well so we will add a section soon starting with referencing. Let us know what you would like. What you want will help everyone so please don’t hesitate to ask.
