Hi everyone! I am Giulia, from Italy, and I am currently looking at how I can improve the living of my global citizenship as a researcher, mother and woman.

I am particularly interested in considering global citizenship as living/filling/occupying (still struggling with the appropriate term!) one's own legitimate space in the world. This, for me relates to feeling valued, respected and seen. I am focusing on how informal practices, happening outside a formal working role, can contribute to global citizenship and its education. I believe that it is fundamental to recognise and value such informal practices and roles if we believe in social justice and in a world in which every human being counts.
