Linda Ware
Linda Ware is an author, broadcaster, a civil rights campaigner and above all, an environmentalist. She believes in speaking her mind for what she thinks is right and sets an example by putting her words into actions.
Linda has written a romantic novel: 'The Hangman of Morgan's Land' under her pen name of Barbara Conway Evans - a name with family connections. She has also written a historical works entitled: 'Monks to Millennium' - the story of her village, Cilffriw (Cilfrew).
As an environmentalist, Linda feels very strongly about plastic food containers and believes that they are harmful to the environment , in fact, something we could all manage without. To prove the point she used no plastic containers for over a year and did not even use her refuse bin, recycling all her houshold waste at home. It was all recorded it all on her blog, which she called 'Auntie Plastic' - see menu on left.
Apart from writing to the newspapers when she feels strongly about something, her most satisfying experience has been broadcasting on BBC Radio Wales on their phone-in programmes and talking to listeners about her views on the environment.
Now that I have painted this pen picture of the talented Linda Ware, I am now going to hand over to her this website I have put together in order that she may express her own views in her own words.

Thank you Cled - I am now living in Cardiff but that does not stop me writing or thinking. There is a lot to think about with a recession or depression or call it what you will looming over every person around us. Is now the time for us to stop throwing away? Is now the time to start preserving what we have? Is now the time to get that book written that people ask me about full of recipes and what to do when the lights go out? Perhaps it is. Watch this space.
