Last Saturday we travelled to Inverness to take part in the semi-finals of the Hydro Under 14 Development competition. Our first game was against Skye and they proved to be a formidable team. At the end of the 40 minute gane we were 10-1 down. Iain A scoring for us from the just beyond the half way line. Our second game was against Strathglass which proved to be a more evenly matched competition. However going into the second half we were 4-0 down. Our young players rallied and came back strong with excellent goals from Jack (2) and Mark D to take the final score to 4-3 Strathglass. Skye were the overall winners having beaten Strathglass aswell as ourselves and will repersent the north in the final which takes place just before the Camanachd Cup Final. Good luck Skye, we'll be rooting for you. Overall, there was some excellent shinty from all our players and a great game from young James F who was brought up from the Primary team to play the tournament. Sorry there are no photos but the person in charge of the camera accidentally deleted all the pictures before they could be downloaded. Oops.
