A brilliant day was had by all in Ullapool yesterday. The games started with the P6&7 age group. For some of our KLB players it was the first competitive match ever played. They held their own but couldn't quite get on top of the young Loch Broom team. The final score was Loch Broom 10 - 0 KLB Camanachd. The S1 & 2 team were off to a flying start when they scored just a few minutes into the game. It was a well matched game with KLB players, Mark D, Iain and Jack all scoring goals to win the game for KLB 5-2. The older teams then took to the park with Iain and Jack both staying on to play again. It was an early lead for KLB against a really strong Loch brrom side. KLB however did not let up with great play from the defence and mid-field as well as the goal scorers.  The final score was Loch Broom 2 -  3 KLB Camanachd. Well done to all our players - you played great shinty in great spirit. A huge thanks to everyone at Ullapool and Loch Broom, the organisers and the players,  for a really enjoyable afternoon with a great atmosphere. We hope to see a return tournament over in KLB.
