Kinlochbervie Camanachd met Farr at the Scourie Pitch last Saturday for the first league game of the new season. It was a beautiful sunny day and a god size crowd gathered to watch and support the teams. Kinlochbervie took control of the first half very early on and rocketed lots of balls at the goal but didn't quite hit the target until 32 minutes in. Oliver, took advantage of the play and scored for KLB, a few minutes later he once again found the back of the net. Farr came out fighting in the second half, winning more possession of the ball, Connor MacIntosh took advantage of this and scored two goals to equalise the score. With only 10 minutes to full time KLB mustered the ranks and pulled their play up a notch and Oliver once again scored for his hat trick, this was folowed rapidly by a goal from Mathew and then from Mark D. This sealed the win for KLB and the final whistle blew at 5-2. Itw as agreat day of good shinty from both sides. Well done KLB Camanachd - we're very proud of you.
