Billy Collins R.I.P

The club is deeply saddened by the death of Billy who passed away on the 26th March after a short illness. Billy dedicated a large part of his life to John Mitchels and has been involved at all levels, as a player, trainer, selector and committee member since the 1950's.

He was the proud owner of an All-Ireland Hurling medal and dedicated his life to the sport always encouraging others to take part. Billy also served as Warwickshire Co board chairman for a number of years. The club extends its sincere sympathies to his family.

The funeral will be held at St Peter's Church in Bromesgrove. Mass is at 7:00pm on Thursday 3rd April 2008 and mass followed by Burial at 11:30pm on Friday 4th April 2008
