Three Cheers for the Hopey Coffee Morning... they did have a drink!

The first Coffee Morning of the season was a great success.

The grand total raised was £784.52

After about an hour it was too hot inside and people were having a cup of tea to cool down.

As usual the Baking Stall was quickly sold out and the amount of raffles were enough for two events.

Thanks to all those who donated goods and prizes and supported us by buying raffles and buying the goods back. If you didnt win a prize this time then you are more than welcome to try at the September Coffee Morning!

A great thanks to all those who organised the day, served the drinks, spread the pancakes, washed the dishes and finally tidied up and counted the money!

I am pretty sure that most of the people have the same seats each year as I knew exactly who was sitting where.

Did you notice Tom Easton continuing to celebrate his sixty fifth bash. First time that has happened at a coffee morning. Happy birthday Tom and enjoy your retirement.
