Overall Champion

This was a very good match played on a cold evening with all the stand seats full. The two players didn't let us down, and although Ladies' Green Champion Margaret MacCallum lost 21 - 15 she certainly held her own against Gents' Green Willie Pirie, winning more ends, but losing on three heavy counts. The crowd certainly added to the event, playing more bowls from the gallery, than the two players did in reality. The hot cupof tea was very welcome!

President V Vice President match takes place this Saturday 19th September (2.00pm), and is also  the closing date for this season.

A good turnout is expected.
