The Hope Paton season started on Saturday 11th April when 30 members attended the annual President v Vice President match in great sunny bowling weather. The day was enjoyed by all who took part with the President’s side winning by 71 – 56 shots. The first sweepie winners of the season were Alan Fry, Irene Gilbert and Bill Rodger (skip) with a comfortable margin.  Due to league commitments this season the weekly sweepie night may vary but the first one will take place this Friday evening so look out your bowling gear, if you haven't yet done so, and come along.

The first Angus Seniors Match is on Tuesday 21st April at 2pm versus Arbroath at the Hopey. Come along and support the club and get a great cup of tea as well.
