Teign Village Allotment Association

Who we are:

We are a group of allotment holders that have decided to take over the management of 59 village allotments from the Parish Council, forming an Allotment Association to do this. We aim to maintain and improve the allotments for village use and as a valuable resource within our community.

We plan to improve access to the site, provide a water supply, and establish a seed and tool 'swap shop'. We also aspire to reserve a plot for communal use with a shed for association equipment and supplies and with an area for community picnics. We would also like to have an area with raised beds and wheelchair access to allow less able members of the community to participate and enjoy the benefits of food growing.
