Who we are

Community Orchard Week Ltd. is currently negotiating the lease for a 3 acre site in the centre of the village of Week, which is owned by the Dartington Estate.

The group aim to create a community amenity space and growing project for the residents of Week village, which will also provide a focus for community activities, events and recreation. They plan to plant, nurture and harvest a wide selection of trees with edible produce, giving particular consideration to the conservation of traditional and local varieties of trees. The group also hope to cultivate local wildlife, encourage biodiversity and provide a sustainable food source for Week residents.
