Growing For Life is an Eden Project initiative managed by the Shekinah Mission charity at Paignton. The purpose of the project is to give people an opportunity to realise their potential and raise personal aspirations through meaningful activities. The 4 acre site on the edge of Torbay has a wonderful rural feel and is on the bus route providing easy access.

Volunteering
With good access to buses from Torbay, Newton Abbot and Totnes we are an ideal site for individuals who would like to volunteer and join in and learn with our activities. read more...

Organic Produce
As from September 2010 we are offering a range of organic vegetables for sale through a simple ‘Veg Box scheme’. Growing for Life is a Certified holding registered with Organic Farmers and Growers (O.F. & G) read more...

The Log Cabin
Built from locally sourced Douglas Fir we have a very attractive timber building which provides a great space for training, taking a break and, on occasions, preparing meals prepared from our own grown produce. The Shekinah mission is a charity based in Plymouth that seeks to support people who are homeless, have substance misuse issues, are ex-offenders, or feel socially excluded.  Whilst many of the volunteers at Growing For Life are referred by the Shekinah Mission, the project is open to anyone who is interested in food growing activities and contributing or learning new skills.
