From Inverness take the A9 over the Kessock Bridge. Then, follow signs for A835 signposted - Ullapool. Follow the A835 through Contin and Garve; Ignore the signpost for the A832 - Gairloch that is just after Garve (you can go this way but it is several miles longer). Continue a further 15-20 miles along the A835 until Braemore junction  (15 miles before Ullapool) and here turn left onto the A832 signposted - Gairloch, then - Dundonnell, Aultbea and Gairloch. Continue along this road for 30 miles, through Dundonnell, until reaching Laide. Here, turn right at Laide Post Office, signposted - Mellon Udrigle and continue for 3 miles. At the bottom of the hill in Mellon Udrigle turn right along a private track signposted - Camping Ground and Ceol na Mara. Continue for 1/2 a mile until you reach the cabins. Ours is the 4th one along.
