We look forward to welcoming our guests at next weekend's event, with the first arrivals being the campers on Saturday afternoon, keen to establish their pitch in the orchard at The Glebe.
On Saturday evening participants will have a chance to talk theory, watch demonstrations, and tackle exercises in preparation for the testing and training on Sunday.
Sunday will be in two halves, morning and afternoon, booked and costed separately. Please note that there will be a two-hour break across lunchtime to give the sheep - and tutor Jackie! - a good rest. You are welcome to bring a picnic and make use of the orchard, but we regret there will be no actual lunchtime catering. However there are several nice pubs and other places to eat in nearby Pickering.
Breakfast and other light refreshments are included in the price and also available to spectators at a small charge, and drinks hot and cold will be available all day on a help-yourself basis.
Please note this is a working farm and reasonable caution should be taken around all machinery and livestock. Dogs should be kept on leads, unless working with a trainer or in the designated exercise area.
For any other queries please feel free to contact us at any time.
