A small, but  select group of 6 met at Milehouse Cottage in Kincraig for the New Year meet. Usual suspects were the Lyons, Liz H, Catriona & Nigel. Perhaps the weather had something to do with it. The snow from early December had receded up the hill into the gale zone, so there was little skiing to be had, if only the weather been more amenable. The numbers swelled on New Year's day with the arrival of Heather & Sen, and briefly, Dougie and Avril. Easy walks were the order, given the late night before and the short day. Still, it's nice to be there.

Coire na Ciste looked skiable to the mid station, and Lurchers is probably OK if you can be bothered to walk over to the foot. Surely it's going to get cold again soon.
