Despite some challenging conditions,  wind,  rain and frost last week the lake fished well again. 

32 rods caught 164 fish rod av 5.12 

No big trout banked last week but some cracking fit fish caught.  Both Dave Fowler and Ross Davies banked 12 rainbow's each on the catch and release ticket.  Fish ranging from 2-3lb which gave great sport.  Dave used Diawl bach and cats whisker to catch his fish.  Ross used FAB and orange dancer. 

Intermediate lines best bet this week with the windy conditions,  but be prepared to switch to floater as the wind calms and come in the water and let small wets or buzzers fish on the drift round. 

The winter catch and release ticket ends today 31st March.  Normal tickets with catch and release limits of 3 fish max after killed bag taken continue as usual.
