A brilliant week with trout well spread out but following the wind and very close to the bank. Most fish falling to lures,  but montana,  damsels working well on either floaters or intermediate lines.  Flies fished only 2'-3' down. 

16 rods caught 65 fish rod av 4.06 

Dave Fowler had two tickets and caught 8 rainbow's 2.5-3lb on black and white montana. 

Mike Beeson had 10 fish on and took 3 around 2.5lbs on a fly designed by Al Stewart  " The copper clouser" (see On the fly section of this website). 

Mike Jones had biggest fish a 4lb rainbow on a lure. 

Fish are in fantastic condition and fighting well.
