Can all anglers ensure, landing nets, weigh slings, unhooking mats etc, are completely dry before using at our fishery. Match anglers should also ensure keepnets are completely dry also. Keepnets should be stretched out and allowed to air out for an hour before putting in the water to kill all bacteria. Simply fetching out of a stink bag and putting in the water is irresponsible and detrimental to our fish stocks. With temperatures rising and anglers fishing more different venues, the chances of spread of diseases is higher. Be responsible and dry all equipment that contacts fish. Thankyou Peter
