New record took place on Sunday from the match pool. In our weekly open Graham Lane caught 122lb 1oz from peg 1. 2nd Steve Jarratt 93lb 3rd Steve Brant 85lb . Average weights were 50lb and over 700lb of fish were caught! The carp are double in size from last year. Anglers fishing the matches are urged to be sensible with numbers and weight of fish put in two nets. Match organisers need to make sure they have an unhooking mat to place in the weighing area.
