Can anglers new to the specimen pools ensure they have appropriate carp care equipment before coming to fish our pools. This includes a decent size unhooking mat, preferably padded, a minimum size landing net of 36" and some antiseptic for wounds and hook damage. Savlon cream or spray is ideal. Unhooking mats are available for use in an emergency at the lodge, and also for sale in the fishery tackle shop.
