Week ending 3 February 2013

Last week 31 rods caught 119 fish rod av 3.83

Wayne Naish had 3 visits and each time bagged up. 8 fish up to 2.5lbs on cats whisker on sinking lines. 

Tony Phelps caught 5 to 2lb on white fritz and black buzzer.

Bloodworm patterns also working on floater on calmer days. Fish seem well spread out but plenty caught around sunken island.

I would like to add that we are sorry but the banks are very muddy at the moment as its been so wet , with rain, snow etc . We hope to sort this once the ground dries so please bear with us and make sure you bring your wellies.

On the specimen pool a few out to those brave enough to fish in the wintry weather.

Andy Hyden took 3 twenties the weekend to 24lb 10oz and Mick Smith a 20lb 9oz leather .

Odd Pike to 10lb on deadbaits.

The match lake has fished well with weights to 55lb in the open on Sunday.
