RYA Theory Course
2018 RYA Day Skipper/Yachtmaster Theory Course begins Wednesday 31th October and runs one night (7pm-9pm) /week for 20 weeks. Maximum of 12 places available.
40 hours (20 x 2 hour session) normally conducted through the winter, 1 night
per week for 20 weeks to prepare you for the practical courses. Courses cover navigation and chart work, International Regulations for the Prevention of Collision at Sea (IRPCS), Safety, Meteorology and much more. Althought the course is only 40 hours it is demanding and students will be reqired to do homework, study about 2-3 hours per week and take exams at the end.
