EYDOH SALTBURN WEEKEND

The Saltburn Weekend is a lot of fun, extremely popular, and is a recurring fixture in our calendar

You are welcome to join us for all or any part of the weekend

The weekend's activities will start at 7:15 on the evening of Friday 3rd September, with an indian meal at Spices restaurant in Saltburn.  If you would like to join us for the meal, please let Jackie know by emailing eydoh@yahoo.co.uk so that she can give you directions to the restaurant and make a table booking for the right number of people.

The walking itinerary will be as follows:

Day 1 (Saturday 4/9/21) - a 35 minute bus trip from Saltburn to Staithes, followed by a linear walk along the clifftops back to Saltburn (just under 9 miles).  Meeting at the Saltburn Station Square bus-stop in good time to catch the X4 bus to Staithes at 10:30

Day 2 (Sunday 5/9/21) - a short, gentle walk, heading north along the coast towards Marske and then returning to Saltburn along the beach.  Meet outside Saltburn House on Marine Parade at 11:00

Accommodation:

In previous years, most of us have stayed overnight at Saltburn House on Marine Parade (Tel: 01287 622008) and it's highly recommended.  It's location is excellent, the staff are extremely helpful and they do a great breakfast! Room rates are very reasonable but you need to book early as Saltburn is very popular during the summer months.
