Empire freehold purchased by Social Housing Association

The freehold for the Empire building, at one time a garage owned by the Hedge family, has been bought by Swansea Coastal Housing Association.    It appears that this was done before any official planning permission was given by NPT Council to build 12 social housing flats.

The cost of the freehold was at one time quoted to be £400,000.
