ABOUT US

We moved to Eigg in July 2004 after spending a couple of years on our boat searching for a place to create a Sustainability Centre. We are both passionate about the environment and nature and try to live sustainably. We have three young boys, Murry(10), Logan(8) and Clyde(6) who keep us busy!

Living on Eigg is a community way of life and we are both involved with other projects/jobs eg. Eigg Green Team, Feis Festival, Forest School, Forestry team and Eigg Electric, to name but a few.

Norah previously worked as a countryside ranger and has been involved in numerous environmental and community projects. She has trained as an environmental educator with the Institute for Earth Education. Bob has two degrees in Human Ecology, works most years as a chief engineer on the greenpeace boats, is a qualified Iyengar yoga teacher and a keen gardener.

Our vision for the Centre is as a vibrant meeting place where people from all walks of life can get together and share ideas and skills related to sustainability, in order to improve our collective health and happiness.
