The Co-operative University working closely with a diverse range of higher education co-operatives who all share the belief in a new type of university since 2012. Together they formed the Co-operative University Federation Steering Group, meeting regularly to debate and action ideas and plans about alternative higher education. It brings together individuals and organisations committed to the ambition to offer co-operative learning opportunities across further and higher education, and revitalising community and adult education.

Schools Co-operative Society established in 2009 to provide a voice for our family of cooperative learning communities and to foster further growth in the sector. The Schools Co-operative Society (SCS) is a national body which currently represents around 300 state-funded schools that share a co-operative ethos.
