Our efforts to build the Trust's capacity are paying dividends: we hired Hazel Smith, over the winter months, to work with us on progressing our long term plans for the Trust. We are delighted to say that she has been successful in securing funding for us which could also benefit the whole island. April will see us beginning governance and IT training on the island. Both of these projects are open to all. The governance training will give us a more robust COHT committee and the IT training will enable us to begin digitally archiving all our artefacts, photographs, recordings, papers etc - a huge benefit to help us widen our audience until we finally achieve a dedicated exhibition space.
Meanwhile the lighthouse moves closer - it's now complete, painted and also due back on the island in April - a busy month indeed!
