BALLOT COUNT ON TUESDAY 22 DECEMBER 2009

 

I, John Bruce, Elections Manager, the Highland Council, intimate that the following votes were counted at the postal ballot count held in the Council Offices, Dingwall on Tuesday 22 December 2009, commencing at 2.00 pm.

 

152 ballot papers were issued by me, by first class mail, on Tuesday 8 December 2009.

 

At the close of the poll at 12.00 noon on Tuesday 22 December 2009,

 

 

__93__________ valid ballot papers had been returned.

 

 

The percentage return was therefore 61.2%

 

 

In response to the question asked on the ballot paper:-

Do you support the Camuscross & Duisdale Initiative’s aim to buy and manage Allt Duisdale Reservoir (subject to funding)?

 

the result was

 

YES: __89_______________                   95.7%

 

 

NO: _________4_________                     4.3%
